Coolabah Stud was established in 1986. It is owned and operated by Paul and Denise Studt on their property “Coolabah Park” near Capella in central Queensland.

The Coolabah stud was established using Couti-Outi, Tarcoola, Duckworth and Greendale bloodlines. Coolabah runs 100 registered stud cattle and a commercial herd, and prides itself on producing stud and commercial cattle with good temperament, doing ability, structural correctness, fertility and weight for age. Both the stud and commercial herds are run under the same conditions and performance recorded with history for at least 3 generations.

Coolabah made a successful debut to the show ring this year, collecting 17 ribbons over the four shows attended, including broad ribbons at each show.

Our aim as seedstock producers is to produce bulls that will sire animals for our clients that will be heavy, easy care and fit into any market.

All bulls are paddock reared and then prepared for sale on a light grain preparation.

We sell bulls through stud sales and in the paddock. Visitors are always welcome at Coolabah to inspect any of our cattle or come and see us at Agrow in July.
