Telemon Brangus is located 50km west of Springsure. It is operated by Duncan and Karen Geddes and is run as a family business, 400 stud and commercial females are run on a mixture of forest and scrub country. Breeders are seasonally mated from November to April with all empty cows being culled. A small AI program is also run to introduce new genetics to the herd. Only the top male calves are retained as bulls with the majority being grown out as 2 and 4 tooth bullocks on buffel grass. Our top draft of bulls are offered at the Central Brangus Classic each year with the remainder sold privately.
