The Central Brangus Classic Sale is held at the Central Queensland Livestock Exchange (previously Gracemere Saleyards), Gracemere, in either the last week of August or the first week of September each year. This year will see the sale set on Friday the 27th September 2024.

The Sale has a group of vendors who each year, are committed to presenting a quality catalogue of Brangus Bulls. Most vendors not only have studs but also run commercial Brangus herds thereby ensuring that a primary focus is maintained on producing and offering for sale, cattle that will meet the requirements and specifications of marketability through impressive carcase traits. The cattle on offer at Central Brangus Classic sales are sourced from some of the best Brangus breeders in Australia and are equally suitable to the stud or commercial producer.

Each year the bulls arrive for sale with current weights, scanned for eye muscle area and fat, pre treated for ticks and have a fertility guarantee in place from the vendor. Such conditions are set in order to provide potential purchasers with as much relevant information as possible to guide them in their decision making.

Vendors, each year, actively encourage potential buyers to attend a pre sale inspection the afternoon prior to the sale at 4pm, where all sale lots are yarded for inspection and vendors are in attendance.
